Cresson Elementary School, Norwalk, CA
Students from Cresson Elementary G.A.T.E. program were able to experience exposure to a professional artist. Learn how to research the art murals and artists who paint them. They also went on a field trip to see public art in their own community. Then the students were able to paint a mural within their own school incorporating community and events of their choosing. Finally the students presented the slides below to a school council meeting about what they experienced.
